I Muhira Children's Home
In 2023 we started the idea to build the I Muhira home completing construction in 2024. We are able to house up to 20 children. We are fully licensed and are currently caring for 6 girls ages 2, 3, 4, 4, 7, and 8.
Girls are true orphans, having lost both parents. Our team cares for the girls during their initial transition, welcoming them as the newest member to the home. The other girls help love and care for them during this painful transition of joining a new family of sisters.
Our compound is walled and has secure lighting and steel doors for protection in a dangerous land. All girls receive excellent nutrition, healthcare, spiritual teaching, the full comforts of our safe compound, as well as private education at a local Christian school. Although most homes in the area are mud huts, we have power, running water, and western-style bathrooms, providing excellent accommodations.
